Established in 2006.

Here's how 20 Peacocks was conceived.  In Paris, on a mission to find good shirts at a good price, Mehdi (the shop's first owner and creative force) wandered into something seldom seen in NYC -- a shirt and tie boutique.  When he lingered over a purple chemise with a three-button collar and navy top-stitching, the salesman offered this for encouragement: "il faut oser, monsieur".  Translation: One Must Dare.  He did, 4 years later, by opening a shirt and tie shop in the LES (Lower East Side of Manhattan).

Since 2013, 20 Peacocks has undergone a makeover;  Hillary Flowers is currently operating the brand by schedulding appointments to meet with customers.  Focusing on the custom shirts our clientele grew to love over the years, she'll continue 20 peacocks in the spirit of Mehdi's inimitable flare.  

20 Peacocks Custom shirts allow for all of the individual expression you can muster.  We have thousands of fabrics to browse, select your collar, choose your cuffs, add pleats, pick a pocket, don a monogram.  Choose every detail including the button & thread color for every bespoke shirt, designed by you! :)
